Introducing Stanbrew, a new coffee brand designed by Studio Fullpool. Collaborating with Lotte and centered on the core value of 'making brewing coffee everyday', Stanbrew is designed to bring fresh, hand-drip coffee to everyday life at an affordable price.
The visual identity starts with the dripper, the symbol of brewing coffee. The logo doesn't just borrow the dripper's shape as an icon, but evolves it into a visualization of the rhythmic, circular flow of a drop of coffee falling repeatedly. The ritualistic act of brewing coffee itself becomes the centerpiece of the brand.
While most coffee brands opt for warm brown tones, Stanbrew uses a deep blue color scheme. The typography is based on a simple sans serif, but the subtly irregular details evoke the organic shape of coffee beans.
We've also enriched our visual language with a family of graphic elements - drippers, coffee drops, ice cream, roastery tools, and more - that are not just decoration, but devices that can be contextualized to add depth to our brand storytelling.
Stanbrew aims to be the "neighborhood trusted coffee spot" that people want to come back to every day. The way the brand builds trust without showing off, and the way it values familiarity over exclusivity, are important hints for today's brand strategy.
