Spotify has launched an AI DJ. Personalized AI explains your favorite tracks and artists, and curated playlists in realistic voice. Spotify described it as an “AI DJ in your pocket,” making it easy for AI DJs to pick out the songs they want to understand our music tastes all too well.
You can switch by tapping the DJ button, and when you press the button, it says, "Okay, let's move to the artist I picked for you. Everyone feels the same way. Let's start with the classics first. This song is by Calvin Harris. It is titled 'This Is What You Came For' and features Rihanna. It was a huge hit when it was released in 2016 and is still a huge hit today.” Say these sentences naturally.
For Spotify, personalized music recommendations have always been a powerful weapon. Until now, when I was bothered to find music myself, I used radio or podcasts a lot, but time often passes on the radio without knowing what music I am listening to. Also, I don't always play the songs I like.
As an AI DJ, you can now continue to listen to the radio that suits your taste. It's a radio just for me. As time goes by, navigation that doesn't need to be explored is getting more and more advanced. The machine started to learn 'on its own' without having to tell me the information I wanted by pressing the smartphone one by one.
It is currently only available in English for Spotify Premium subscribers in the US and Canada. I want to experience the service in Korean as soon as possible.
