Meta Connect 2023: With virtual reality inside and outside the home

Meta annual event Meta Connect 2023 was held. We announced Meta's VR headset Quest 3, which will be available soon, and various hardware and software utilizing VR, AR, and AI technologies. After the huge and expensive Meta Quest Pro, I needed a device I could use in real life. It contains the direction in which Meta is headed now that Apple's Vision Pro is threatening virtual reality devices.

As the name was changed to Meta, Meta is focusing on virtual reality. We have released a variety of hardware and software in the hope that users will be able to play in virtual reality both inside and outside the home. However, it is difficult to know what makes each experience better than other services that have recently become a hot topic. I think it would be better to focus on virtual reality and AI platforms that can provide various services.

Although individual products and services provide excellent quality, we have not yet seen any clear changes in our lives. The flat virtual space is becoming three-dimensional, but it doesn't seem to be much different from the screen-centric experience.
