You will be able to move and make sounds easily and conveniently while maintaining the power of Procreate. You can think of it as an enhanced version of the previously provided Animation Assist. Features like the new tool Performing add keyframes based on the user's gestures, allowing you to naturally change expressions in real time.
You can still work with touch and freely create frames by dragging and dropping. With multi-touch gestures, you can complete drawing, cells, keyframes, and video editing in one space.
The flipbook tool is an homage to traditional animation. Perfect for creating short looping GIFs or complex character animations. It also supports rotoscoping and can import ProsRes footage at up to 8K resolution. An audio engine that can add character voiceovers, background music, sound effects, etc. has also been introduced.
The next-generation painting engine for Procreate Dreams works with raster projects up to 1 million pixels and supports traditional Procreate brushes. You can draw images and animate them right away. The new .dream file format allows files of up to 1TB to be opened instantly and managed through iCloud.
📕 Editor's Notes
This is the emergence of a creative tool that threatens Adobe. In the past, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro were the basic tools for creating animations, but now you can create creative animations with just Pro Creator.
I didn't draw a lot of illustrations on the iPad, but suddenly I felt like I wanted to draw something and make it come to life. Will Adobe be able to create a new sensation in the world of design? No, there is already a gust of wind, but how big can it grow? This is a great update with great future impact!
