Marin Living Foods rebranded with The Working Assembly. Marin Living Foods is an almond milk company founded in California by Gaina Lieu, a chef at Bauman College.
The brand differentiation strategy using visual graphics is impressive. Strategies may vary depending on who is the main character expressing the brand identity, but I think it was cleverly focused on how this brand would feel when placed with other milks.
The most notable feature is the word mark that reflects the fluid shape and movement of milk. It doesn't flow like water, it feels like writing with slightly viscous milk. It is also in line with the design language of the recently popular brutalism series.
A unique wordmark was featured as the protagonist and a palette hinted at flavor was used for the background. The ever-changing word mark and calm colors are combined to create a balance. When describing our products, we present ourselves in a confident and strong tone, such as Simply Unique or Wildly Delicious. The unofficial tagline 'Defiantly Delicious' is also cool.
