LV1. user experience

Definition, what is UX design?

Research on UX has been around for a very long time, but it has had a huge impact on the industry and has become a core concept that companies must know when providing services or products.

History, when did UX come into existence?

UX can comprehensively encompass the concepts of users and experiences, so it is not easy to determine where to start. Among them, we focus on meaningful UX events related to the industry.

What is composition and UX made of?

It is difficult to achieve the results you want if you think that every experience is good. Controlling the results requires being able to classify and interpret how the user experience is structured.

Principle: What is good UX?

You can't create a good UX alone. If we're going to create together, we need to align on what we think is good. So what is good UX?

Academics, the fundamental foundation

Research on UX has been around for a very long time, but it has had a huge impact on the industry and has become a core concept that companies must know when providing services or products.

Cognition, the beginning of experience

UX can comprehensively encompass the concepts of users and experiences, so it is not easy to determine where to start. Among them, we focus on meaningful UX events related to the industry.

Judgment, the most important crossroads

It is difficult to achieve the results you want if you think that every experience is good. Controlling the results requires being able to classify and interpret how the user experience is structured.

memory, limited mental resources

You can't create a good UX alone. If we're going to create together, we need to align on what we think is good. So what is good UX?

Emotions, immediate and intense reactions

You can't create a good UX alone. If we're going to create together, we need to align on what we think is good. So what is good UX?

LV3. understanding people

Research: What actually happens?

The world is more complicated than you think. There are many times when what I thought I knew was actually different. However, we cannot leave everything unknown. So what should you do?

Attitude, what do users think?

Not examining your users' thoughts and hearts is like jumping over a cliff with your eyes closed. Even if we cannot measure the exact number or degree of hardness with a ruler, we must run.

Behavior: How do users behave?

This is because people's thoughts and actions can be different. In most situations, people act rationally. Behavior can be predicted to some extent depending on the context. But predictions aren't always right.

Types of interpretation and experience data

Data needs to be organized and defined to understand the experience. It is time to communicate deeply with customers and go beyond intuitive decisions and turn organized data into an asset for the company.

LV3 Assignment

Create assignments that put your knowledge to practical use. Give and receive feedback until the level is sufficient.

LV4. Designing an Experience

Users, who uses them?

It is the user who determines the usefulness of the experience I design. Even if the experience is the same, its value varies depending on the context of the person experiencing it. The experience of standing feels different to someone who has been running for over an hour and someone who has been sitting in a chair for over 3 hours.

Satisfaction, what do you want?

People act for satisfaction. The reason we design experiences and create products is to satisfy users. You need to create the results the user wants and maximize positive stimulation throughout the experience. It has to be useful, convenient, and beautiful.

Problem, what does it solve?

To create a desirable experience, you need to figure out what problem the user wants to solve right now. Defining a problem involves finding out what outcomes users want and what obstacles they are experiencing along the way. Then we design a design that solves the problem.

Journey, what process does it take?

User experience is not a straight line. There may be the shortest route, but that doesn't mean you'll have the only experience. When designing an experience, you need to decide which experiences are going to be awesome and which ones will help anyone solve the fewest problems.
