Lineseed is a global service line font created by Line Plus, Sandol, and Dalton Mak. It is a simple and smooth typeface that supports Korean, Latin, Japanese, and Thai languages.
The process for different companies to express one identity is interesting. First of all, the perfection of Latin was important to create a typeface representing the line used in various countries. Sandoll, who makes excellent Korean fonts, decided to create this global font together with Dalton Mak, who has collaborated with them for a long time.
Line Plus, Sandoll, and Dalton Mak all agreed on each other's thoughts through workshops. We matched the proportions of Korean and Latin characters, matched the sizes and proportions of Chinese characters, Kana and Thai characters that could be added in the future, and added a function that allows you to use various shapes to match the characteristics of messenger apps that use a lot of emoticons.
It does not reveal a strong personality, but it is a typeface that reads smoothly anytime, anywhere. I don't think there's much difficulty in using the title or body text anywhere. A micro-website made in 4 languages, where you can see the impressions of Line Seed. Thai characters or Japanese characters that are not familiar to us can better feel the impression of the font.
