Uniqode has rebranded in collaboration with design studio koto. With the surge in demand for non-face-to-face solutions since the pandemic, and the advancement of QR code technology itself, QR codes have become more than just a means of conveying information and have become a core tool for business operations. In this trend, Uniqode (formerly Beaconstac) has rapidly grown as an enterprise-grade QR code platform and has reached a new turning point.
This rebranding is a comprehensive reorganization project from brand strategy to identity system. The core keyword is 'Seamless Connection', and 'Stitching' was adopted as a metaphor to visualize it. This is a symbolic device that effectively conveys Uniqode's philosophy of connecting the physical world (IRL) and the digital world (URL) into one flow.
We developed a custom typeface, 'Uniqode Sans', inspired by cross-stitch, and every design element, from the hand-stitched icons and illustrations to the details in the photos featuring real users, is closely linked to the brand's direction.
