Tezza, the photo app used by the Kardashian family

Photo editing app Tezza has rebranded in partnership with Brooklyn-based creative agency Saint-Urbain. Founded in 2018 by influencer Tessa Barton, the photo and video editing app has gained significant attention after being used by high-profile influencers like the Kardashians.

Teza has moved away from its traditional minimalist style and transformed into a more refined and elegant image. The new wordmark features sharp angles that reflect the app’s square photo format, and bold colors, mainly cream and tan, emphasize the brand’s uniqueness. The brand identity has also been strengthened by maintaining the existing face icon.

Alex Ostroff of Saint-Urbain said the goal of the rebrand was to create a brand image that matches the beauty of the content produced by the Teza community, with the aim of providing artistic inspiration and stimulating the creative urge within users.

Along with the rebranding, the company is also introducing a product line, with plans to expand the brand’s reach with a range of products including phone cases, candles and collage kits. The change appears to be a strategy to go beyond the limitations of traditional photo and video editing apps while also strengthening its connection with the Tezza community. However, it remains to be seen whether Tezza’s fashion-focused expansion will actually be successful in attracting new users.
