Hanwha Eagles has unveiled a new brand identity and uniform in collaboration with American sports designer Matthew Wolff to celebrate its 40th anniversary. The new slogan is “RIDE THE STORM.” The home uniform is a modern reinterpretation of the logo from the 1999 championship in white and orange, while the away uniform uses gray and navy as its basic colors to symbolize an eagle sitting on top.
The new uniform uses improved materials that are lightweight and breathable to help players perform at their best. It features patterns of an eagle’s beak, talons, feathers, and lightning in a storm. The Hanwha team will wear the new uniform at the 2025 spring camp, and fans can pre-order it at the Hanwha Eagles official online mall in February next year.
Hanwha CEO Park Jong-tae said, “Airplanes lose lift in turbulence, but eagles gain propulsion and fly higher.” He expressed his strong will, saying, “The Hanwha Eagles will overcome the storm and head toward the glorious moments to come.”
