Apple announced news of a new Apple Watch series at an event held on the 9th (local time). The Apple Watch 10 with a larger and lighter screen, the Apple Watch Ultra 2, which is great for water sports, and the SE, which has only the essential features at a low price, were unveiled.
The case size of the Apple Watch 10 has increased to 42mm and 46mm, but the screen bezel has been reduced, allowing for a viewable area that is 30% larger than the previous series. It uses a wide-angle OLED so it is bright even at an oblique angle. Power efficiency has improved, so the always-on display, which was refreshed every minute, is now refreshed every second. It is about 10% thinner than the previous series, and 10% lighter for aluminum and 20% lighter for titanium. It comes in a new glossy aluminum jet black and a new titanium case in natural, gold, and slate colors.
Various activities and health features have also been updated. The 'Vital Signs' app, which allows you to see health-related figures, sends a notification when two or more figures are different from usual. Training Volume records how exercise intensity and duration affect the user's body over time and suggests training methods. Activity Rings can be controlled by day of the week and can also set rest periods.
Added depth and temperature sensors for underwater activities. Displays current depth, water temperature, time underwater, and maximum depth at a glance. Useful for snorkeling or shallow diving.
Inspired by nautical chains, Hermès' Cable Knit Band and Grand H Metal Band, along with Nike's Sport Loop and Sport Band, are available for use with the Apple Watch.
Apple Watch Ultra 2 has been released with a black titanium case, Apple Watch Hermes Ultra 2, and a titanium Milanese loop. It is a design suitable for water activities such as scuba diving and sailing. It uses the Hermes Cape Cod font, a number font exclusive to Hermes, and the seconds are displayed along the border.
The Apple Watch 10 starts at 599,000 won, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 starts at 1,149,000 won, and the Apple Watch SE starts at 329,000 won, and will be released on September 20.
