This is a work submitted by graphic designer Kim Seo-young to Seoul National University's 2023 graduation exhibition, 'THE GREAT BUMP'. It is a work that criticizes the unique naming of apartments in Korea. In order to make the apartments look more valuable, they name them by combining foreign words that give an exotic impression with keywords that affect the apartment price. The apartment logo resembles a heraldry used by nobles in the Middle Ages. The designer exaggerated this to the extreme and expressed it as a graphic with substance. It expressed an imaginary apartment that symbolizes everything that symbolizes Banpo, Haeundae, and the best location in Seoul. I thought for a long time about what PERFECTUM INTER NAUTRAM ET CIVITATEM ET CHOPUMA is, and then I burst out laughing.
