Naver Pay has launched a mobile transportation card. You can charge it with Naver Pay Money and pay for public transportation. It is NFC-based and can only be used on Android devices. Issue a transportation card exclusively for 'The Joy of Moving' in the Naver Pay app and charge Naver Pay Money. It can be used by children and teenagers, and payments are made automatically according to age. It can be used on subways, buses, and taxis nationwide.
You can check your mobile transportation card usage history and balance in the Naver Pay app. You can charge up to 90,000 won per time and 200,000 won per day for your mobile transportation card. If you use automatic charging, the amount you set will be charged automatically. There is no charging fee, and any unused charging amount within 7 days will be refunded, and if you have used more than 80% of the charging amount, you can receive a refund for the balance.
The event will run until May 31, 2024. Every time you use public transportation, you will earn 100 won, and those who use Naver Pay and Samsung Pay will earn double the amount. Up to 4 times a day, with a limit of 10,000 won per month. Naver is the king of earning.
I am happy that they are competing with features for user convenience. Kakao Pay, which provides a mobile transportation card with the same features, is also holding an event that provides refunds of up to 63% by linking with K-Pass. There is no annual fee or transportation card recharge fee. I hope Naver Pay will also link with K-Pass quickly and find a way to use it on iOS without NFC.
