Airbnb has announced its summer 2024 update, announcing a new experience called ‘Culture Icon’. Celebrities from various fields, including music, film, TV, art, and sports, become Airbnb hosts. It's full of hosts you can only see in your dreams.
The most powerful experience is the flying house featured in the animation ‘Up!’ As many as 8,000 balloons float above the house, creating a surreal sight. The house couldn't actually fly, so it was lifted into the air by a crane.
The main character, Carl Fredricksen, also became a host. The introduction about living with a talking dog is cute. Additionally, a fantastic host who appears in the movie invites you to a special space. You can create key memories with Joey from 'Inside Out' or receive superpower training with X-Mention from X-Men.
I also have experiences with real celebrities. Doja Cat holds a private performance just for guests at home wearing pajamas or comfortable clothes. It is said that Doja Cat's cute cats will also be there. Drink tequila with comedian Kevin Hart in the VIP private lounge and watch a relaxing stand-up comedy show.
