Apple has released iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 resources to the Figma community. Just as we provided the package files for the sketch, we shared Apple's platform design to Figma. It feels like it has been recognized that Figma is the basic program for digital product design.
👁️ Designer Eye
There are many Apple resources that are essential when designing products. Instead of taking a screenshot or browsing the community to find it, the latest files are now in one place.
From basic elements such as text and color to system interfaces and complex components. There are several templates that you can use when you need to express when your app uses system elements, such as alerts, sheets, and Face ID. In particular, notification templates, The keyboard has always been hard to find, but it's easy to use. Elements such as home screen backgrounds and device bezels are also useful.
SF Symbols and SF Pro are required to display properly. In the future, it is said that it will add components such as Apple Pay, App Clips, and Shortcuts for iOS and iPadOS. Going further, Sonoma, watchOS 10, tvOS as well as visionOS will be added.
📕 Editor's Notes
It has always been inconvenient to write 'I use the OS system', but now it's easier to record the user's actual experience in Figma. When designing a system, it is important to record and design the user experience as much as possible, which is good news.
It is also significant that it is the actual work file of a company that leads the world's digital product design grammar. There is a lot to learn from the files of the company that even controls the device on which the virtual design is displayed. It is good not only to use the template set by Apple, but also to get a glimpse of the way and standards for distinguishing colors and fonts. In addition to providing a detailed legal code for an ecosystem that meets the guidelines, providing a framework that can be used right away seems like a good strategy.
