Artifact is an AI-powered text news app. It was created by Instagram founders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger. Called the 'TikTok of News', it uses AI to understand users' interests and suggest interesting stories.

When you first install an artifact, it will ask you for your preferences as usual. Choose at least 10 topics and encourage reading of at least 25 articles. Every time I read an article, I guide you that the recommendation is improved, and I support you in various ways step by step. There aren't that many pushes. I feel like sending a push only when an article that I'm interested in comes out. 'Just a little more and you can get a badge!' I haven't seen a push of that kind yet.
The impressive UX was noticed after a few days of use. Simply put, it is an experience of easily reading trustworthy articles and communicating with trustworthy people.

anti clickbait
Anti-clickbait function is provided for trustworthy articles. People vote on clickbait for articles, and Artifacts even change headlines based on the voting results. It says it's still being reviewed manually.
AI Summary
AI summarizes for easy reading. Reading the original article is the basic UX, and you can summarize the article by clicking the aA icon in the lower left corner of the article details. It is impressive to summarize in various tone and style. Personally, I find it convenient because it is summarized in a way that even children can understand.
reputation score
We provide reputation points to communicate with trustworthy people. It provides the ability to discuss, empathize, and communicate with people rather than simply reading an article. You can add different emojis to your articles and you can also comment on them. You can receive upvotes and downvotes for your comments from other users, based on which your reputation score is displayed next to your name. An algorithm, including reputation and comment scores, determines impression ranking.
If you have secured trust and read it easily, you should now recommend it, right? It is said that they are preparing a function to share articles as images naturally. It sees itself as an alternative to Facebook and Twitter. Along with Substack, it is growing into a new media journalism medium.

📕 Editor's Notes
These are the apps I've been using the most lately. I'm not familiar with English, so I have to read it with concentration, but I like the summary function to check the contents and the concise design of the app. I also like the direction the app is heading. In particular, I like the idea of showing content that challenges your views, where personalized recommendations can lead to biased views by making you see only what you've seen.

If you are not familiar with English, but want to access various foreign media, start lightly with the summary function.
