This is the Neurath X typeface created by René Bieder. It is a retail typeface released by the Berlin-based type foundry Studio René Bieder.

Neurath X is a proportional width sans-serif font. It forms a single collection with the Neurath X Mono, which was released alongside it. Both products consist of 18 styles each. There are 9 weights ranging from Thin to Black, and a total of 36 styles including italics.

The starting point of the typeface is the reduction of geometric letters. Studio René Bieder explains that they referenced early modernist experiments such as Paul Renner's Futura, Herbert Bayer's Universal Alphabet, and Herb Lubalin's ITC Ronda. Based on circles, straight lines, and simple structures, the letters were reduced, but the spacing and curved connections were adjusted for practical usability.

The creative aspect lies in designing sans-serif and monospace as a system based on the same formative principles, rather than as separate products. Neurath X can be used for branding, editorial work, packaging, and interfaces, while Neurath X Mono supports environments requiring a fixed width, such as code, tables, and data screens. It also includes alternative characters and OpenType capabilities, allowing users to choose between more restrained and experimental forms within the same sentence.
