On the 11th, Netflix updated the Love Like feature. Now, when evaluating a video, Not for me with a thumbs down, like with a thumbs up, and love like with two thumbs up are displayed.
When you evaluate something, you will decide whether it is good or bad and decide on an action. Then, judge how good/how bad it is and act. At this point, deciding how much is more difficult than you might think. When rating using 5 stars, what is the difference between 3 and 4? The fewer evaluation scales the better to reduce what the user has to think about.
It's been a long time since Netflix switched from a 5-star rating to a 2-star rating. I think it would have been disappointing to judge the quality of content based solely on good/bad. I think we might be able to resemble the model of Tinder, which is the king of evaluations.
