The Timeless Typeface Family, a collection of free variable typefaces, has been unveiled. The creators explain that they started the project based on their experience of finding it difficult to find high-quality free fonts. Citing Rasmus Andersson's typeface Inter as a source of inspiration, they created four families that can be used for various purposes.

The composition consists of Timeless Grotesque, Timeless Sans, Timeless Serif, and Timeless Text. All four families are variable typefaces and include italics. Variable typefaces go beyond the method of selecting fixed styles, allowing for the continuous adjustment of character attributes within the supported range.

The usage scope suggested by the production team ranges from 10-point fonts to large outdoor advertisements. It is presented with a composition that takes into account both small body text and large headings. The four font families were designed to share common attributes, allowing them to be combined with one another. The design is based on the premise of using different typefaces together within a single project.

Alternative characters are also provided. This feature allows users to change the notation by applying different forms to the same character. The development team announced that users can test the font and alternative characters directly in the online playground. Along with the distribution of the font, an environment was also established where users can compare shapes and examine combinations.
