Apple Unveils Mac Mini Equipped with M6 and M5 Pro

Apple unveiled the new Mac mini on August 25, 2026. The new model features M6 and M5 Pro chips. It maintains the form factor of an ultra-compact desktop. Apple stated that the M6 model offers up to four times better AI performance, up to two times faster graphics and storage speeds, and 401 TP3T higher CPU performance compared to the M4 model.

The M6 model features a 12-core CPU and a 12-core GPU. The base integrated memory is 16GB and can be configured up to 32GB. The M5 Pro model supports up to an 18-core CPU and a 20-core GPU. It has up to 64GB of integrated memory and a memory bandwidth of 307GB/s.

Apple also unveiled a new commercial video for the Mac mini. The video was produced using clay animation techniques that transform the product into a bodybuilder, a race car, a rocket, and more. The production process involved hand-drawn stop-motion, with clay props, sculptures, and scene-specific movements created by hand. The campaign was handled by TBWA’s Media Arts Lab, with participation from Blinkink and Stoopid Buddy Stoodios.

Both models support Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and 2.5Gb Ethernet. Prices in Korea start at 1,499,000 won for the M6 model and 2,990,000 won for the M5 Pro model. Sales begin on September 22.
