Antropic has released Claude Design. You can create designs, prototypes, slides, one-pagers, and more while interacting with Claude. It is available as a research preview and is being rolled out sequentially to Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers.
This product runs on Claude Opus 4.7. Users can describe the task they want to perform to create an initial draft, and then modify the result using conversation, inline comments, direct editing, and slider adjustments.
Designers can transform static mockups into interactive prototypes. PMs can create feature flows as wireframes or mockups and deliver them to development or design teams. Founders and sales organizations can create presentation materials, while marketers can produce assets such as landing pages and social media images. They also explained that it supports the creation of code-based prototypes utilizing voice, video, shaders, 3D, and AI.
During the onboarding phase, the codebase and design files are read, and the team's design system is configured. Subsequently, colors, typography, and components are automatically applied to the project. Each team can also operate multiple design systems.
You can start with a text prompt and upload images and documents. You can import DOCX, PPTX, and XLSX files, and it also supports codebase connections. You can also use the web capture tool to capture website elements and incorporate them into your prototype.
Documents can be kept private, and links can be shared within the organization or editing permissions granted. Deliverables can be exported in Canva, PDF, PPTX, and HTML. Completed designs can be bundled into a Handoff bundle that can be delivered to Claude Code.
