Classic Crocs in the Shape of an Xbox Controller Released

Xbox and Crocs are collaborating to create a unique console-inspired shoe. On the 26th, Microsoft will release a limited-edition collaboration, the Xbox X Crocs Classic Clog, which faithfully embodies the design of the Xbox Series XIS controller. The console's iconic buttons and joysticks are recreated on the shoe, maximizing the gamer feel and quickly becoming a hot topic as a unique item that connects gaming and fashion.

This collaborative product features a matte black exterior and the same YBAX buttons and analog sticks on both sides as those found on an actual controller. Elements resembling the D-pad and bumpers have also been added to both sides, providing an immersive experience that feels like the console itself. The Xbox logo is engraved on the strap attachment point, adding to the level of detail. Following the Windows XP-themed Crocs that Microsoft unveiled earlier this year, this collaboration is another example of Microsoft continuing its brand-inspired collaboration.

The Xbox Jibbitz Charm Set, which is also being sold, is also attracting attention. Consisting of five charms based on popular Xbox IPs such as Halo, Fallout, Doom, World of Warcraft, and Sea of Thieves, it is sure to stimulate the collecting desires of gaming fans. As it is a limited edition, the response from fans is also very enthusiastic.

The price is 129,000 won in Korea, and various sizes are available, from a minimum of 230 to a maximum of 310. Sales in the US will begin on the 25th for $80. The Jibbitz Charm Set will be sold separately both domestically and internationally. After launch, detailed information and inventory status will be available on the official website.

This is being evaluated as an example of Microsoft broadening the scope of its brand experience by extending the sensibility of its consoles to fashion items. With projects commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Xbox 360 and Microsoft's 50th anniversary continuing, this product is also being interpreted as an attempt to communicate the brand's legacy to the public in a new way. There are also predictions that incorporating gaming culture into everyday items like shoes will resonate widely with a wide range of consumers.
