Musinsa, Korea's leading fashion platform, has officially launched a new secondhand trading service, Musinsa Used. Unlike existing secondhand platforms that simply connect sellers and buyers, Musinsa takes full responsibility for the entire secondhand transaction process. Sellers simply need to apply, and Musinsa handles the rest.
Sellers simply place their items in the dedicated used bags they receive after applying and leave them at their doorstep, without needing to take photos or post anything. Musinsa handles the entire process, from inspection and washing to photography, posting, sales, customer service, and even settlement.
Musinsa supports the trading of over 20,000 domestic and international brand fashion items, regardless of whether the brand is listed on the platform, and plans to further expand its product categories. Musinsa Used aims to create a new used fashion ecosystem by significantly reducing the inconvenience of the transaction process, concerns about counterfeit goods, and the stress of direct transactions with sellers, all of which have been identified as issues in existing secondhand trading.
Various events celebrating the official launch are also attracting attention. The 990 won Time Deal event, where selected used items can be purchased for 990 won every day at midnight, is stimulating interest in used fashion among buyers. A payback event, where sellers receive an additional 100 won in Musinsa money per registered item and receive a 50 percent refund of commissions, is also running until September 25th.
Offline events are also taking place. Musinsa will host the Musinsa Used Flea Market at Musinsa Square Seongsu 4 in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, from August 30th to 31st. At this event, you can find a variety of secondhand fashion items, including items from famous influencers' collections, limited edition vintage shops, and items from Musinsa employees.
