Cleaver is the next-generation premium mechanical keyboard from Serene Industries, following the Icebreaker. The body is precision-machined from a single block of aluminum, maintaining a minimalist yet brutalist design, while being much thinner and lighter. The Hall-effect magnetic switch detects key input without contact, maximizing durability and responsiveness. The interior is completely sealed with a rubber silicone core to reduce noise and vibration, and is also dust and moisture resistant. The aluminum keycaps have 1,204 microscopic holes that allow light to pass through, creating a unique visual effect. Cleaver only supports wired USB-C, comes in two colors, and is priced at $850. It is a pre-order product that will start production two weeks after release.
