KFC Saucy: Chicken Tenders with Sauces to Your Taste

KFC has launched a new restaurant brand called 'Saucy' with a completely different image. Ranked third in the fast food chicken market after Chick-fil-A and Popeyes, KFC has introduced a new concept to overcome the increasing competition and declining sales in the market. It offers a new experience with a pink exterior, a unique logo, and bright and colorful interior. KFC said Saucy was designed as a welcoming space targeting young and adventurous customers.

The menu is simple, but it offers a variety of sauces, allowing customers to order in over 4,000 combinations to suit their tastes. You can enjoy chicken tenders with a choice of 11 sauces, including Peri Peri Ranch, Creole Honey Mustard, and Sweet Teriyaki. Christophe Poirier, KFC’s Chief Concept Officer, said the intention is to modernize and differentiate the brand by giving customers the freedom to personalize the menu through sauces.

KFC hopes to test experimental and innovative ideas through Saucy and capture the attention of customers. Like sister brands such as Taco Bell, the standalone concept is expected to provide new learning opportunities and contribute to the brand’s flexibility. KFC said Saucy will explore expansion possibilities based on initial response.

Saucy Restaurant opened its first location in Orlando, Florida on December 20th.
