Presentations: PowerPoint Fonts for Everyone

The font for PowerPoint, 'Presentation', has been released. The Windows presentation program, 'PowerPoint', is a program used by all Koreans. People who are not familiar with design tend to use basic fonts. There were many details that had to be taken care of here and there to create a good design with basic fonts. The font that solved many problems that everyone was thirsty for at once is Presentation.

The presentation font was created by presentation designer Lee Ju-im with the help of Pretend Developer Gil Hyeong-jin and Powerpoint Expert Club Cafe Manager Kim Ji-hoon. It is an excellent solution to the problem because it was created directly by professional users who felt inconvenienced. It is a wonderful design that shows the attitude and heart toward users through the homepage and font.

It combines the Korean font 'Bon Gothic' produced by Google and Adobe and the English font 'Roboto', a font for Android.

The default settings, which give the impression of missing teeth with wide letter spacing and narrow line spacing, have been changed to tight ones. The upper and lower margins of the letters have also been unified to make center alignment easier. The visually awkward spacing between letters has been corrected, and the numbers have also been changed to a fixed width so that all numbers appear to have the same spacing.

We also improved the phenomenon in which English appears small when Korean and English are used together. We also reduced the phenomenon in which fonts appear blurry by smoothing out the outlines.

It offers nine levels of font weight: Thin, ExtraLight, Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold, Bold, ExtraBold, and Black. The homepage provides a short sentence explaining in which situations it should be used.
