Nothing Phone (2a) Special Edition: Smartphone that resembles Super Nintendo

Nothing has launched the ‘Nothing Phone (2a) Special Edition’ inspired by Super Nintendo.

Nothing is introducing fresh designs to the saturated smartphone market. The special edition also retains the transparent surface and layout that reveals the internal components. Yellow and blue were added to the original combination of gray tones and red. It is a similar color to the yellow of our earphone product Ear(a) and the blue of our smartphone model Phone(2a).

The size that can be held in the hand and the point color scheme resemble the Super Nintendo controller. The three primary colors of light are expressed so vividly that it looks like a Mondrian painting. A cold tech device like a NASA spaceship has a hint of mid-century canvas-like aesthetics.

The hardware is the same as the existing model. It has an 8-core Dimensity 7200 Pro chip, 20GB RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery. The display is a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 1,300 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera is equipped with a 50MP sensor and is capable of 4K shooting. The selfie camera can shoot at 1080p at 60FPS. The software is equipped with Nothing's OS 2.5 based on Android 14.

The Phone(2a) special edition can be purchased on the website. The price starts from approximately 610,000 won. It is also available in limited quantities at Nothing's Soho store in London.
