Nickelodeon Rebranding: The Return of Iron Puduck Slime

Nickelodeon rebranded after 14 years. Nickelodeon is a children's TV channel. This time, the Splat logo used since the 1980s is reinterpreted in a modern way. The rebranding will launch in the UK in July and will be available in markets worldwide by the end of 2023.

Nickelodeon opened the 'Portal to Fun' campaign starting with the video 'Quartet'. Six agencies, including Roger and CALLEN, participated in the campaign. Nickelodeon, which has various animations such as Spongebob, Ninja Turtle, and Baby Shark, is striving to become Disney beyond media.

Nickelodeon opened the 'Portal to Fun' campaign starting with the video 'Quartet'. Six agencies, including Roger and CALLEN, participated in the campaign. I expressed Nickelodeon in various ways, but I want to look like Nickelodeon in any video.

For the animation that expresses the logo, a motion of crumpling back and forth with intense saturation was applied. The joyful atmosphere of the numerous enjoyable channels is captured throughout the video. The bold font in the middle is also impressive. Of course, the beloved slime textures and sounds can be found everywhere.

📕 Editor's Notes

Recently, 3D expressions of various textures have increased, but it has been a long time since I found that they were properly used. It reminds me of my childhood waiting for Spongebob Squarepants. Nickelodeon likes slime. I hope to see you again in Korea.
