The Thinking Traveler, a service that introduces glamorous luxury villas, has been rebranded together with design studio Without. The rebranding included various touch points such as strategy, identity, and physical/virtual applications.
The Thinking Traveler has been offering villa vacations for 20 years. As the villa rental business has grown over the years, it has also created numerous competitors. A new luxury branding was needed to provide its own unique value.

Even one line of sentence is intensely imprinted. It's amazing how you can express your brand so powerfully with text and photos. More than simply finding accommodations that fit your criteria, we convey the belief that you can have a deep 'experience' that is not just a nice space on the outside.

When looking for a destination, the many poetic expressions found on the homepage resonate. Beyond viewing and documenting the lodging as a building, we expressed a 'villa with a soul' in photos. Photos of landscapes that capture the relationship between the people staying and the space beautifully, as well as the scent of the air and the temperature of time are attractive. Add to that the timeless, laid-back illustrations, and it seems that an as-yet-unwritten short story has become the protagonist.
Watching a movie based on a travel destination enriches the trip. The Thinking Traveler, from the moment you meet the brand, to the process of browsing the website is like watching a movie. Even though I haven't made a reservation yet, my heart is pounding. It seems that it is a feeling that is difficult to feel with just a pretty picture. You can find villas in Sicily, Puglia, Corsica, Corfu, Paros and Hydra. I must hurry up and prepare for my trip to Greece.
