Bang & Olufsen, Hiroshi Fujiwara Collaboration Collection

Bang & Olufsen has unveiled a collaboration collection with Hiroshi Fujiwara's Fragment Design. This collaboration is a limited edition that reinterprets four of Bang & Olufsen's flagship audio products through Fragment's monochrome black aesthetic. The featured products are the Beosound A1, Beoplay H100, Beosound Shape, and Beosystem 9000c.

The biggest change is the finish. Bang & Olufsen applied special anodizing and hand-polishing to the milled aluminum. This created a high-gloss black surface that reflects like liquid. The Fragment's Double Lightning logo is applied differently depending on the product. It is located inside the grille on the A1, on the aluminum tag on the Shape, and on the earcup on the H100.

Hiroshi Fujiwara is known to be a long-time fan of Bang & Olufsen. Bang & Olufsen explained that his 35 years of listening experience with the brand is reflected in the details of this limited edition. This collaboration focuses more on the products and surface treatments selected by Fujiwara than on a simple logo collaboration.

The launch began first at a pop-up store in the Isetan department store in Tokyo. The pop-up will run from May 20 to 26. Subsequently, the Beosound A1, Beoplay H100, and Beosound Shape will be released globally starting June 3, 2026. The Beosystem 9000c Fragment Edition is a Japan-exclusive made-to-order product.
