OpenAI has added Codex to the ChatGPT iOS and Android apps. Codex is an AI coding tool that helps with writing, modifying, testing, and managing workflows. While previously used primarily on desktops, it is now accessible within the ChatGPT mobile app.
Users can start new tasks, view results generated by Codex, and approve the next steps on mobile. While the code tasks themselves continue to run in the development environment, progress checks and instructions can also be given on the mobile phone. OpenAI is releasing this feature as a preview.
