Titaner T-Solver, the one who carries it anywhere, anytime

Titaner, a titanium tool brand, is heralding the revival of analog calculating tools with the release of a ring ruler featuring a magnetic click mechanism. Named the T-Solver, the product was introduced as a three-function device that combines slide rule logic with a ring ruler capable of rolling curves and straight lines for measurement.

The Tisolver defines a full rotation as 10 centimeters and provides tactile and auditory clicks at regular intervals. Users calculate the total length by multiplying the number of clicks by 10 and adding the remaining markings on the display. It is designed to allow for quick length readings while rolling along curved surfaces, such as cables or leather edges.

The scale configuration is based on calculations. On one side, a 10-centimeter metric scale and a 4-inch yard-pound scale are placed on the same ring to facilitate unit conversion. The design allows the inch value to be read from the same position when the metric value is aligned with the reference line on the display window, revealing an intention to reduce the need to open a mobile phone conversion app.

The other side focuses on area calculation. While the outer 10-centimeter scale is retained, a square area scale has been added to the inner ring so that the area appears immediately when one side is aligned. This configuration is designed to facilitate a workflow where the operator can instantly verify the required area by measuring just one side of the panel.

The material prominently featured is the Ti 6Al 4V series, known as Grade 5 titanium. The description also included details that a rubber O-ring is placed on the outside, while a hidden anti-slip structure inside prevents the ring from slipping even on wet surfaces. The display takes the form of a transparent window with a red baseline, aiming for both readability and protection.

T-Solver offered an early bird price of $49 on crowdfunding, with a future retail price of $88. According to media reports, production is scheduled to begin in March 2026, with delivery targeted for June.
