Hanjin Group Unveils New CI Design

Hanjin Group unveiled a new corporate identity (CI) to mark its 80th anniversary. At a ceremony held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Yongsan, Seoul on the 23rd, Hanjin Group declared "Moving the world to a better future" as its new group vision and announced its mid- to long-term strategy for the next 100 years.

In his commemorative address, Hanjin Group Chairman Cho Won-tae stated, "Hanjin's 80-year history is a history of Korea's advancement." He added, "We will continue the founding spirit of contributing to the nation through transportation and grow into a comprehensive logistics company beloved by the world." He expressed gratitude for the dedication of his employees and emphasized that Hanjin Group's challenges and innovations have always aligned with the nation's development.

Next, Hanjin Group CEO Cho Hyun-min announced "Group Vision 2045." He stated, "Inheriting the pioneering spirit of 80 years ago, we will build a total smart solution based on aviation and logistics." He presented seven core strategies, including AI-based hyper-autonomous logistics technology, space logistics solutions, and expanded ESG management. Through these initiatives, Hanjin Group plans to leap forward as a global, comprehensive logistics group encompassing aerospace, future mobility, and e-commerce.

The new group CI, unveiled today, is a modern reinterpretation of Hanjin's iconic "H" mark, expressing simplicity and sophistication through a single-line structure. While maintaining the traditional blue color palette, it also incorporates an ascending curve symbolizing flexibility and dynamism.

Additionally, we have developed a group-exclusive font, "Hanjin Group Sans," and decided to apply it across all affiliates. This measure aims to ensure high readability and strengthen brand consistency in digital environments.
