Adobe has launched Firefly Boards, a generative AI-powered creative collaboration tool, in over 30 countries worldwide. Firefly Boards is a platform designed to enable designers, videographers, photographers, and other creators to integrate images, videos, text, and motion data in a single space. From ideation to visualization and iteration, the entire process can be completed in a single space.
This release introduces three key new features. First, the "Presets" feature allows you to quickly visualize your ideas by applying preset visual styles like "Virtual Outfit" or "Party Style" with a single click. The generative text editing feature allows you to instantly edit text within an image while preserving its style. The image caption feature automatically generates generative prompts when you drop an image, enabling intuitive iteration.
Functionality for video creators has also been enhanced. New video generation models, including Runway Aleph and Moonvalley Marey, have been added, and can be used alongside existing models such as Luma AI Ray3, Google Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, Veo 3, and Pika 2.2. This enables a variety of video content creation options, such as creating dynamic clips from static images or creating storyboards based on reference footage.
Adobe has actively incorporated AI into the ideation process, the earliest stage of creative work, through Firefly Boards. It enables intuitive visualization and collaboration in the complex and unstructured ideation phase. Firefly Standard and Premium plans offer unlimited canvas, Adobe Stock integration, and access to partner AI models. The mobile app is available for download on the iOS App Store and Google Play.
