ASUS Unveils New Nature-Inspired Laptop

ASUS has opened the 'Design You Can Feel' exhibition at 'Milan Design Week 2025', the world's largest design event held in Milan, Italy. This exhibition puts ASUS' design philosophy at the forefront with the themes of materials, craftsmanship, and artificial intelligence (AI). The exhibition will be open for free from April 8 to 13 at the historic 'Galleria Meravilli' in the heart of Milan.

The highlight of the exhibition is the installation “Willful Wonder,” a collaboration between ASUS and experimental design studio Studio INI. Made of ASUS’s proprietary material Ceraluminum™, the translucent honeycomb-structured panels open and close in response to the viewer’s movements, taking inspiration from nature’s sensitive response mechanisms. Touching the panels causes AI to visualize movement data, turning the viewer into a part of the artwork.

Another centerpiece of the exhibition is the cutting-edge material Ceraluminium developed by ASUS. This material, which is made by turning aluminum into ceramic, is three times stronger than conventional anodized aluminum, but is 30% lighter. It is also made through an environmentally friendly electrochemical process and does not use any heavy metals or organic solvents, making it 100% recyclable.

To celebrate, ASUS has launched the new 'Zenbook Ceraluminum Signature Edition' series, which consists of four colors each inspired by natural landscapes, and are realized through a combination of electricity and minerals rather than dyeing.
