Galaxy ONE UI 7 official distribution

Samsung Electronics will sequentially roll out the One UI 7 upgrade to major models, including the Galaxy S24 series and the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, starting April 7.

The models eligible for the update are the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Z Fold6/Flip6, Galaxy Tab S10 series, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5/Flip5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series, with more models to be supported in the future. The schedule may vary by model and country.

One UI 7 offers expanded personalization options across the home screen, widgets, and lock screen, allowing users to customize their settings in greater detail. The Now Bar feature lets users check real-time activity or change music without unlocking the screen.

'AI Select' analyzes the context of the screen to provide functions such as translation, generative editing, and GIF creation. 'Writing Assist' supports text summarization, translation, spell check, and writing style adjustment. The 'Audio Eraser' function allows you to isolate and remove voices, noise, and wind sounds from recorded videos, or adjust the volume. The 'Drawing Assist' function allows you to create images with simple sketches.

One UI 7 helps users easily find the information they want through voice or text commands. For example, you can press and hold the side button and say, “Find me an Italian restaurant that allows pets,” and then search for that restaurant on the map. Also, if you type “I feel tired” in the Settings app, it will suggest appropriate options, such as optimizing the brightness.

The One UI 7 update will begin in Korea and expand to North America, Europe, and more.
