LG Electronics has introduced a new lamp that combines indoor gardening and lighting functions. The product, which will be unveiled at CES 2025, is an indoor gardening device with a tray that can hold up to 20 plants and an adjustable LED grow light. It also serves as a home lighting device, brightening up the space.
This lamp shines down during the day to help plants grow, and up at night to create an indoor atmosphere. It has a built-in water tank that automatically supplies water and nutrients according to the number and type of plants being grown. It works with the LG ThinQ app so users can adjust the lighting and manage the growing schedule even when they are out and about.
The new product has a larger water storage capacity than existing LG indoor gardening devices and provides an expanded growing space for growing plants of various heights. It creates a colorful growing environment with LED lights that can be adjusted in height. It is designed to enable continuous management even when the user is away for a week. LG will also unveil a growth lamp in the form of a side table that resembles nature.
“This new product provides customers with an opportunity to easily create an indoor garden and add the beauty of nature to their homes,” said Ryu Jae-cheol, president of LG Electronics’ H&A business division. “We will continue to introduce innovative indoor solutions that allow anyone to easily enjoy the joy of gardening.”
CES 2025 will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 7 to 10 next year.
