KakaoTalk has added spelling correction and translation functions in 19 languages. The spelling correction function automatically corrects spelling and spacing errors by clicking the 'Spelling' icon after entering a message. After checking the revised content in the preview, you can immediately send the corrected message by clicking the 'Apply to Input Window' button.
The translation function translates the content into 19 languages, including English, Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish, by clicking the 'Translate' icon after entering the message. The translated text can be checked through a preview, and the language can be changed as needed. It is also possible to translate foreign languages into Korean, supporting smooth conversations with foreign users.
In addition to spellchecking and translation, this update includes several new features. The ability to set up birthday reminders for friends has been introduced, allowing you to edit or add new events on the birthday calendar. Birthday reminders can also be linked to sending congratulatory messages and gifting.
We've also added a 'Tag a Friend' feature that lets you tag up to 10 friends. Tagged friends can see the content via a Pung message and easily move to the profiles of other tagged friends.
For Talk Drawer Plus subscribers, a feature that allows you to save conversations as they are in the chat room has also been included.
