Airbnb is introducing new features for winter. Airbnb, which introduces unique accommodations full of personality, has a new feature for people who have trouble deciding what to choose.
Users will be able to get more reliable information about guests and properties, and hosts will be able to register and manage their information more easily and conveniently. We've announced three major features: 'Guest favorites', which are properties selected based on strict criteria; improved reviews that provide a more detailed look into the quality of properties; and a new properties tab for hosts.

Guest favorite
Accommodations selected by many guests are displayed with a separate badge. In the list, the Guest favorite badge is prominently placed in the upper left corner of the card. In the accommodation details, the review information is grouped in a separate line and the badge is placed in the center to naturally draw attention. Collect. Guest favorite Place laurel wreaths on both sides for stronger emphasis. It was expressed with thick, dark black lines in accordance with the visual rules of existing artwork.

It's similar in context to 'Super Host', which can be earned by maintaining an overall rating of 4.8 or higher, but 'Guest favorite' is more focused on the listing itself. Superhosts are updated quarterly, while 'Guest favorites' are updated weekly.
Improved review
You can now sort reviews by time or rating. You can check the distribution of star reviews from 1 to 5. We also add context about who wrote the review. It will show you where you are from, who you traveled with, and for how long.

It is a format that allows you to check the overall ratio rather than specific numbers. Since new judgments must be made every time new information is provided, the 'distribution' is expressed in a small way so that one can quickly judge it. You can scroll horizontally to see more ratings for each property. As expected from Airbnb, the newly added items are expressed with minimal graphics and no color.
Features for hosts
We've updated a variety of features to help hosts register their information better. You can easily register your details via mobile with the property page editor. With the help of AI, you can quickly organize multiple photos by space. You can also check the check-in guide in advance, which will notify you when your accommodation reservation is completed. You now have tools to more conveniently manage your hosting income, co-host, compare rates, and control how your listing rates are displayed.

Like Airbnb, it provides a new experience with a simple GUI. It's also a good idea to use 2.5D-style illustrations to highlight only the areas you really want to emphasize. It's seamless to emphasize only what's really important rather than graphics that make everyone the protagonist.
I think they focused on features that reduce worries and help people choose accommodation. Guest favorites, which carefully select accommodations, not guests, and reviews, which help users find the information they need to make decisions, seem to have the same purpose but different UXs. While badges help you make a quick choice by minimizing the information to collect and judge, review enhancement is an experience that helps you make a decision by finding detailed information needed to make a decision.
In the future, it would be nice to have more features to reduce the difference between the accommodations I see on the platform and the actual accommodations. I wonder if it would be possible to share the inside through a video.
