Threads, the Twitter rival created by Instagram, has been released to the iOS App Store. While Twitter has slowed down recently by limiting speed and limiting viewing rights and volume, various services are growing. Threads connect Instagram followers and followings so you can stay connected. It is scheduled to be released on July 6th.

👁️ Designer Eye
The thread symbol used a form similar to @. It is not a perfect circle, but designed with a curvature close to the round square of Instagram. It is a form close to @, which is a modified form of a, but some say it is like 'ear' or 'G'.
Thread is connected to Instagram but operates as a standalone app. Based on what was published on the App Store, it seems that you can like, comment, regram, share, etc. It will be a place for the community to come together and discuss everything from topics of interest today to topics that will be trending tomorrow.

Overall, it seems to bring the usability of Twitter while preserving the visual identity of Instagram. It's the impression that it's Instagram without pictures. The like, comment, regram, and share icons look the same as Instagram, and the image that expresses the profile, name, and certification mark also seem to be the same.
Meta jumped into the growing Twitter alternative platform market with Blue Sky and Mastodon. Thread is the name of an app originally launched by Meta in 2019 to compete with Snapchat. The product is gone, but the brand remains.

📕 Editor's Notes
Twitter's usability is deteriorating while efforts are being made to keep the information-rich Twitter from being used indiscriminately by AI. It makes me wonder if Twitter, which has great power as a media, is intentionally made powerless. How will the dominance of real-time media change after Twitter? Right now it seems like they're shaking hands in a platform war, but what is Elon Musk looking at?
