Recently, an app called 'Lemon 8' is gaining popularity all of a sudden. It's been a while since we released it, but it recently entered the top 10 in the US App Store by download. Lemon 8, which is called a lifestyle community, can share photos and videos on various topics such as fashion and travel, and connect commerce links.
This app was created by a company called ByteDance. This is where TikTok, which is now the most popular in the world, was created. It is under surveillance by the US government and Congress on suspicion of handing over user information to the Chinese government. Under pressure from the US government, it is copying other services to create new services and intentionally migrate existing users.

Basically, it is a form of social media that uses more than 3 photos and more than 150 words. You can shop like Amazon while interacting like Instagram on the Pinterest layout.
It has the same design as China's Xiaohongshu. Xiaohongshu is a social commerce service that has developed from a community that boasts bought goods to a shopping mall, and is a sensationally popular service.

Editor's Note
I think a lot about good experiences and strategic successes. Strategic success in a situation that demands sacrifices only for growth, China goes beyond or ignores moral standards.
In an atmosphere where everything is forgiven for success, cheating and deceiving users is on the rise. I'm afraid that immoral behavior in order to achieve rapid growth and performance will create the results they want and affect the world.
I don't think Korea is any different. What good can we make? Do we have to give up everything we make to succeed?
