Runway, which has developed various AI software since 2018, has released an AI app that converts videos into various styles. Create AI videos using Gen-1 AI models. It is available on the web app and the App Store on iOS.

Upload your video and choose a style, such as watercolor or charcoal drawing. Check out the 4 preview styles and save the short final footage to your library. The results are not perfect, but the experience of changing the subject itself rather than the feeling of covering the lens with a filter is fun.

Eye of Design

Gen-1 is still much inferior to image production AI in terms of output quality. However, Gen-2, which is still in closed beta testing, is expected more. Gen-2 can create videos in various combinations such as text, text+image, and image+video.

There are many tools for creating videos using messages, but the function of applying CG to a specific object or expressing the entire video with a completely new texture is expected to be used like chroma key CG work used in movie production.
