Tone, human-like AI phone

STALA has unveiled the brand identity for its voice AI platform, Tone. Tone is a platform that uses AI to support businesses in communicating with customers over the phone. The official website introduces Tone as an open-source-based voice AI platform. Users can create and deploy voice agents, and test and monitor them based on actual call data.

This project focused on organizing technology-centric products into a clear brand system. According to a case study published in Orma, STALA took the gap between the fixed response methods of traditional call centers and mechanical AI responses as its starting point. Tone aims to maintain conversational context and human-like responses even in automated phone interactions.

The visual language consists of direct typography, restrained colors, and graphic elements derived from the flow of conversation. STALA designed the system so that the product interface itself becomes the central medium for revealing the brand. It is a method in which the actual screen and functional structure convey identity rather than marketing images.

STALA is an independent brand identity studio founded in 2022. It provides brand strategy and visual systems for growth-stage companies and founders. The Tone project is an example of how to visualize the conversational experience users encounter, rather than simply explaining the technology, in a market where voice AI and customer experience are combined.
