Calendly, Flex Bubble Module System

Calendarly has revamped its brand identity to align with the expansion of its service areas. The new brand system was handled by the Philadelphia-based design studio Smith & Diction. On August 19, 2026, Calendarly officially announced Notetaker, an AI meeting recording tool, and Callie, an AI assistant. The product range, which previously focused on scheduling, has expanded to become a platform handling tasks before and after meetings, including Scheduling, Notetaker, Contacts, Payments, and Callie.

Smith & Diction designed a visual system where multiple products belong within a single Calendarly yet can be recognized independently. The sub-brand icons were simplified to ensure their shapes are distinguishable even in small UIs. At the same time, rounded, organic forms were applied that connect with Calendarly's existing logo. The structure is designed so that functions are immediately recognizable in small sizes, while acting as symbols representing individual products when used in larger sizes.

A modular graphic system called 'Flex-bubbles' has also been applied across the entire brand. Within a rounded frame, users can place not only product icons but also various information such as event types, actions, statuses, and times. By repeatedly applying the same basic form to diverse content, the connections between products are expressed. Along with this reorganization, Calendarly has also streamlined its navigation and product names. Recaps has been renamed Notetaker, Sell to Payments, and Workflows to Automations. The brand revamp was carried out in conjunction with a transformation that expands the product family from a scheduling tool into a suite connecting tasks before and after meetings.
