Grammarly rebranded as Superhuman

Grammarly has changed its name to "Superhuman" and unveiled a new AI productivity platform. This rebranding marks Grammarly's expansion from a grammar correction service into a broader AI-powered work ecosystem.

The new Superhuman brand encompasses four products: Grammarly, a writing assistant; Coda, a collaborative workspace; Mail, an intelligent email client; and the newly unveiled Superhuman Go AI assistant. Bringing these four together, the Superhuman Suite creates an ecosystem of "practical AI agents" that understand context and offer real-time suggestions in any environment users work in.

“AI should amplify human capabilities, not replace them,” said Shishir Mehrotra, CEO of Superhuman. “True AI productivity lies in understanding context and providing timely, needed assistance wherever we work.”.

The core of Superhuman is "Go." It recognizes the user's work context in real time, across various work tools like browsers, email, documents, and chat. For example, it automatically retrieves CRM data when responding to a customer email, summarizes past meeting notes before a meeting, and automatically submits engineering issues as bug tickets. Its unique characteristic is that it operates naturally within the workflow, without requiring separate prompts.

Superhuman features an open "agent platform" architecture. It currently integrates with over 100 apps and offers connector agents for Google Workspace, Microsoft Outlook, Jira, Confluence, and more. Partner agents include Common Room, Fireflies, Quizlet, and Speechify. The "Superhuman Agents SDK" is also available in private beta for developers, allowing them to create customized AI agents tailored to their organization.

In addition, we launched the "Superhuman Alliance," a partner collaboration program. This program supports solution providers, resellers, and technology partners to build AI productivity solutions together, promising equal support and growth regardless of size.

Superhuman continues to prioritize user trust. It states that it does not sell user content or use it to train models, and that it gives users full control over data access and usage.

This rebranding is seen as a strategic move beyond a simple name change, aimed at building an AI-based "business operating system." GramMary acquired the collaboration tool Coda last year and the email client Superhuman earlier this year. This integrated product line connects to over a million apps and websites, growing into a massive platform used by over 40 million people.

Currently, the Superhuman Suit is available as a paid plan, with the "Go" feature available at no additional cost until February 1, 2026. With this rebranding, GramMary is evolving beyond a simple writing tool into a "superhuman productivity platform" where AI works alongside humans, not replacing them.
