Google Skills, Google's AI learning platform

Google has launched its AI learning platform, Google Skills. Google Skills is an integrated platform that brings together approximately 3,000 training courses from Google Cloud, DeepMind, Grow with Google, and Google for Education. Anyone from students to executives can easily learn and practice AI and cloud technologies, and it offers a next-level learning experience based on over 26 million accumulated learning records.

Additionally, the new Gemini Code Assist feature allows developers to start coding with Gemini directly within the learning platform. This feature is already available in over 20 hands-on labs and will be expanded to all relevant courses in the future. Learners can also demonstrate their expertise by earning the "Get Started with Application Development with Gemini Code Assist" badge. New skill badges, including "Building Smart Cloud Apps with Vibe Coding and MCP" and "Deploying Agents with the Agent Development Kit," have also been released.

Organizational features have also been significantly enhanced. Team-tailored learning assignments, company-specific leaderboards, and real-time data-driven reporting have been added, allowing for systematic management of learning outcomes. Gamification elements are also noteworthy. Points leagues, achievement sharing, and continuous learning bonuses enhance learning engagement and encourage friendly competition between teams.

Another keynote of this announcement is the GEAR (Gemini Enterprise Agent Ready) program, through which Google plans to support one million developers in building enterprise-grade AI agents. This cohort-based program is designed to cultivate practical agent development and deployment capabilities.
