The scientific field is already a saturated market with massive competitors. In this context, Syensqo, a new specialty chemicals company, has found a unique way to express its brand. Spinned off from Solvay, a company with a 160-year history, Syensqo has established its own unique identity.
Syensqo emphasizes the value of collaboration beyond technology, centered around the brand philosophy of "Science Made Collective." Inspired by the 1911 Solvay Conference, where world-renowned scientists gathered, Syensqo reinterprets the message of the time: scientific progress comes from the collective, not the individual.
This philosophy is clearly reflected in the logo design. The 24 connected dots symbolize the 24 scientists who participated in the conference and visualize the structure of collaboration. In a field dominated by cool blues, Syensqo chose a warm orange as the primary color to convey the brand's "human-centered" orientation. Furthermore, 3D iconography was used to express materials and innovative technologies in a more intuitive and immersive way.
