Notion AI Meeting Recording and Summary Launched

Notion has introduced a new AI-based meeting recording and summary feature. This feature is structured so that users can write notes separately while recording in real time during a meeting. After the meeting ends, AI automatically summarizes the main content, and the summary format can be selected according to the situation, such as 'automatic', 'sales call', 'daily standup', and 'team meeting'.

Currently, this feature is available in the Notion app for Mac (version 4.7.0 or later), with mobile versions coming in the future. Notion recommends that users obtain consent from meeting participants before using the feature, and recording will begin when the consent confirmation button is pressed.

This feature supports over 15 languages, including English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and German. The recorded content is searchable through AI, and can be easily used by entering the /meet or /meeting command within the Notion document.

The 'Notion AI for Work' toolkit was also released. With the enterprise search function, you can integrate with various external apps such as Microsoft Teams, Gmail, Salesforce, and Zendesk to perform integrated searches. With the research mode, you can collect information from external materials or the web to support automatic document creation. In addition, you can integrate with ChatGPT and Claude to use it within Notion at no additional cost, and all functions are provided with a fixed rate of $20 per month.

Notion is expected to further strengthen its competitiveness with existing large platforms such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 through this integration of functions. Following the launch of ‘Notion Calendar’ last year, it recently introduced an AI email client based on Gmail.
