Razer has released its first vertical mouse, the 'Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition'. Breaking away from its existing gaming-focused lineup, this product, which emphasizes ergonomics and practicality, goes on sale on April 25th.
There are two products announced this time: the basic 'Pro Click V2' and the vertical 'Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition'. Both models feature programmable buttons, Razer Chroma RGB lighting, and the 'AI Prompt Master' feature that can quickly launch ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot.
The basic V2 is right-handed and features a 30-degree tilt design for the natural hand position, rubber grips, an extended thumb rest, and a tilt wheel for horizontal scrolling. The vertical edition is designed at a 71.7-degree angle for a handshake, and features an adjustable height base to reduce wrist fatigue and a thumb cutout.
Both models feature Razer’s high-performance Focus Pro optical sensor (up to 30,000 DPI), nine physical buttons, and HyperScroll functionality. Button durability is rated for 60 million clicks, and hotkeys and macros can be customized via Razer Synapse. Connectivity is provided via both Razer HyperSpeed Wireless (2.4GHz) and Bluetooth, allowing you to switch between multiple devices.
The battery life is also strong. The basic model can be used for up to 3.5 months, and the vertical edition has a larger battery for up to 6 months. They weigh 110g and 150g respectively, and the size is 126×80×46mm for the basic model and 111×88×79mm for the vertical model. The lighting area is also different, with the basic model supporting 14-zone RGB and the vertical model supporting 18-zone RGB.
The Pro Click V2 series is the successor to the first-generation product created through collaboration between Razer and office furniture brand Humanscale. Breaking away from the monochromatic, office-friendly design, this V2 reflects the ‘Razer-down’ aesthetic with a black body and RGB.
