Apple Launches Find My Service in Korea

Apple has announced that it is introducing its Find My feature to South Korea. Now, users in South Korea can use the Find My app to locate their Apple devices, including iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches, as well as personal items such as AirTags and Find My network accessories, on a map, and share their locations with family and friends.

Apple prioritizes user privacy, and the Find My feature uses end-to-end encryption so that even Apple cannot see your location information. Only you control your location and device information, and you can change or stop sharing your location at any time.

Users can share their location in real time with friends and family via iPhone or the Messages app, and the precision navigation feature makes it easy to find people even in crowded places. The Safety Check feature automatically notifies you when you have arrived at your destination, and you can also share your device status information for peace of mind.

If your device is lost, you can use the Find My app to track its location, make it sound, set it to lost mode, and even remotely lock or erase the device's data. You can also check the device's battery level and set up a disconnection notification.

You can easily track items like bags, keys, and wallets using AirTags or Find My network accessories. You can share the location of your items with up to five people, and temporarily share with trusted partners like airlines when needed.

This Find My feature is available on iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, macOS Sequoia 15.4, watchOS 11.4, and later. AirPods, Beats headphones, Apple Pencil Pro, MagSafe card wallet, and more are also supported.
